DES PAPILLONS VISITENT DES ALVÉOLES D’ABEILLES (why not?)

ENG: I would say that (even if it was not my intention when designing it), at the end the pattern looks like it draws from Folk Ornament and Art Nouveau decorative arts,
The classic ogee layout forms a continuous decorative lattice across the surface. At every junction, lush tropical fronds and textured seed pods create a focal point, while symmetrical rosy butterflies adding a touch of warmth and movement within each frame.
Whether applied on a wallpaper adding architectural height or used for luxe soft furnishings, this pattern offers a kind of balance of detail and graphic clarity, making it a versatile choice for both modern and traditional decors.

SEMIS D”YEUX TALISMANIQUES !

ENG: A seamless repeat featuring talismanic eye motifs drifting through nebulous clusters of multicolored dots on a warm parchment ground.
The pattern balances graphic clarity with an ethereal, hand-touched aesthetic. Its spacious layout makes it a versatile choice for statement wallpaper, decorative soft furnishings, and high-fashion textiles, offering a modern, protective symbolism any interior or apparel collection.

I used the ‘eye element’ from this pattern to express something about how pattern designers see the world.

In English
Bird Palace Medallion is a seamless ornamental pattern inspired by tropical folklore that imitate devotional imagery.
Each medallion reads like a miniature altar: a central floral stem rises symmetrically, bearing heart (physalis style)-shaped fruits and layered leaves, while two birds perch at the summit, evoking themes of guardianship, harmony, and abundance. The oval frames, with their scalloped red borders and turquoise interiors, recall antique cameos, ex-voto ornaments, or palace wall decorations.
Between the medallions, eye-shaped floral rosettes punctuate the composition, adding a subtle sense of protection and mysticism, while reinforcing the rhythmic spacing of the repeat.

HELICONIA AND OTHER TROPICAL FLOWERS FIELD

EN: Inspired by Heliconia’s tropical garden, the “Exotic Flora” pattern stands out for its balanced composition. Large flowers are arranged in alternating columns, while tiny blossoms delicately decorate the background. The overall design feels light and airy, combining a classic aesthetic with inspiration from distant folklore. The textures, colours, and lines give the pattern a distinctive graphic and personal touch.

A maximalist pattern featuring stylized palms, sculptural red blooms, and perching birds.
The palace flowers seems almost to float, connected by a cascading chain of monstera leaves. This vertical botanical sculpture winds its way between fan-shaped foliage, creating a playful dialogue between the two forms. Who said a seamless pattern couldn’t leave room for a little imagination?
The king parrot eats small sweet seeds (offerings he received from his subjects) in his flower palace while, outside, a smaller bird is waiting for instructions on a transverse pathway branch, quietly sitting under a monster leaves shade. Despite the obvious hierarchy connection, everybody seem relax and enjoy the slow living “art de vivre”
so stylised birds can move among fan shaped palms, between the oversized flowers and fan-shaped leaves, they can weave their way along connecting small branches, instauring a lively dialogue between flora and fauna.
Structurally, the large botanical forms establish a strong vertical rhythm, while the birds and smaller details introduce movement and a sense of narrative.

A warm cream background brings out the greens, with accents of coral, orange, lilac and deep purple. Changing the background colour shifts the mood of the entire repeat. Against deep navy, the silhouettes become sharper and more dramatic, creating a moody, almost cinematic atmosphere with a luxurious conservatory feel. On pink, the foliage, birds and protea-like blooms take on a more graphic quality, almost like a decorative tapestry set against a field of colour. The effect is lighter, sunnier and more playful more decorative pop than moody luxe.
Designed to work beautifully at a larger scale, the pattern is particularly suited to statement wallpaper, high-end upholstery and decorative soft furnishings requiring a bold yet balanced aesthetic.

This pattern as a much simpler construction than the rest of the collection. I started to build the collection with a few heros patterns then I needed to include lays out with more air circulating, with less intertwine and overlaps. Here is one
The repeat is evenly spaced and balanced, maintaining that way a steady visual cadence. Elephants and grazing zebras move calmly beneath towering fan palms, whose radiating leaves form a repeating, structure across the surface.
The animals, rendered with gentle textures, give the pattern a calm, illustrative look.

HELICONIA TROPICAL LIVING GARDEN

EN: I usually make postcards with my completed seamless pattern designs, this one was created the other way round. As I was playing with the elements from “green cathedral” collection and, this time, I first created afloral illustration (non repeat pattern) on a postcard format, then I designed a similar layout for a medium tight upward pattern repeat.

ENG: The palette balances the earthy heat of terracotta and ochre against a crisp powder blue backdrop accents of soft blush, deep teal, and forest green create a sophisticated, multi-dimensional garden that feels both sun-drenched and refreshing.
Imagine it on a walls : medium or macro?

N: This is a seamless tossed and directional upward repeat. A tropical floral one that features vertical heliconia style blooms (forming a upward “garden column” motion), textured bottle brush spikes, and fluttering butterflies arranged in an airy way. The medium scale density is balanced by smaller blossoms, seed pods. The butterflies fill gaps and maintain even visual rhythm.

EN: It is suited for high-end interiors, including custom drapery, upholstery, and bedding. the vibrant yet balanced color story makes it a trend-forward choice for fashion apparel, luxury and gift wrap.Concomitantly, The pattern provides a timeless tropical escape that feels both lushly wild and artistically organized

“

ENG:” One of the quotes that inspired this collection from Alejo Carpentieris
The jungle stretched on without end, an ocean of leaves where light and shadow drifted together, where silence murmured and tumult stirred.”
This specific pattern expresses well the “silence murmured and tumult stirred”part. Lots of colors, lots of rustling from the animal coexisting peacefully in the; “ocean of leaves” (palm grove)

See making off in BLOG
“The jungle was awakening beneath the golden light of morning. The leaves rustled softly under the caress of the wind, and in the distance, a bird’s cry echoed like a call. Between the gnarled roots of ancient banyan trees, shadow played with light, tracing shifting shapes upon the damp ground. It was a kingdom without borders, where every path could lead to an unknown adventure”. The Jungle Book (Rudyard Kipling)EN:
The first mental image that came to me when I began imagining a seamless jungle collection was a design that could capture the essence of a lush, vibrant natural environment. When repeated, the composition would connect seamlessly at the edges, creating a continuous, immersive forest scene with no visible beginning or end.
Within this framework, I developed this vision of a dense jungle, with layers of overlapping foliage, animals and flowers, into a range of compositions… some are intricately intertwined, others rising vertically, others dispersed into more organic clusters. Each variation explores a different rhythm and sense of movement while remaining rooted in the same imagined landscape.
Through all the collection and with this particular motif, nothing is dark or threatening. This jungle is luminous, immersive and alivea space of balance and harmony, shaped by the very logic of seamless repetition. There is no fixed viewpoint, no clear beginning or end: the landscape simply continues.
This pattern presents a lively jungle menagerie, with the animals acting as focal points while layers of foliage create a continuous, richly textured backdrop. Zebras, elephants, giraffes, leopards, rhinos, monkeys, birds and a lion are woven into the tropical vegetation, surrounded by palms, fan-shaped leaves and exotic flowers. The composition is deliberately dense, creating a sense of abundance rather than visual emptiness.
The high density and limited negative space create an immersive surface. Palm fronds and tree trunks give the composition a vertical structure. Scattered flowers, birds and smaller leaves make it lively and busy
The hand-drawn elements give the pattern a familiar jungle-illustration feel, while the colours keep it fresh and energetic. The mood can also shift with the background: pink creates a playful, colourful “daytime safari” feel, while dark tones bring out a richer, more atmospheric “night canopy” mood.
Imagine !
